We are proud of our school uniform and we expect all children to wear it with pride. The core uniform, summer variations and PE Kit are shown below.  No nail varnish is permitted.

Core Uniform

• Navy-blue ‘V’ neck school logo sweatshirt or cardigan
• Black school shoes with black soles
• Grey or black trousers, shorts, skirt or skorts
• White or light blue shirt or polo shirt, logo optional (worn tucked-in)
• Socks or tights (black, grey, navy-blue or white)
• School tie (encouraged in Years 3 to 6)
• Summer variation – A blue and white ‘gingham’ summer dress/skort.
• Long hair must be tied back with a plain hairband. 
• The only jewellery pupils are permitted to wear are a plain watch (no Apple watches or Fitbits) and small stud earrings. These must be removed for PE, Games and Swimming. 

PE Kit

• House coloured T-shirt, black shorts, black plimsolls and appropriate outdoor sports shoes.
• Dark coloured tracksuits, hats and gloves may be worn in cold weather.
• PE Kits should be brought in to school on a Monday, and taken home on a Friday to be washed.

Swimming Lessons

All children in Key Stage 2 classes have a course of swimming lessons. Children will need: a one-piece swimming costume or trunks, (trunks should be fitted, not shorts) a towel and a swimming hat. All earrings must be removed.

Footwear

We expect children to wear conventional black school shoes with black soles. 

House Colours

Parents/Carers will be advised which house their child will be in – this determines the colour of their PE T-shirt (please see below).

Protective Clothing

Please provide an apron, overall or old shirt for messy activities. Please make sure that: 

• All items of your child’s clothing is clearly named because it is impossible to identify the owner of the lost clothes otherwise.
• Anything that should hang up, like your child’s coat, has a strong hanging loop securely attached to it.

Please remember that most supermarkets offer reasonably priced school uniform and it is not necessary to purchase uniform with a logo on – plain jumpers, polo shirts and cardigans are perfectly acceptable, provided they are the correct colour. 

Second hand uniform

Don’t forget we also have a second-hand uniform shop run by two Year 6 pupils. We hold weekly sales on a Tuesday after-school between 3.15pm and 3.45pm. You can find us to the right of the office through the fire exit door.
