Welcome to Robert Kett Primary School.

Robert Kett Primary School is a three form entry primary school. We currently have three classes in Reception through to Year 3, with two classes in Year 4 to Year 6. We are very proud of all our children. The staff work extremely hard to provide a rich, exciting and varied curriculum and our children respond enthusiastically to all the opportunities offered to them. We engage children in their topics with Wow starters each half term and invite parents in to share their learning regularly. We also focus on developing children’s learning skills and habits through our 5 R’s: resilience, responsibility, resourcefulness, reflection and reasoning.

We have a dedicated and talented staff who educate and care for our pupils to a very high standard. Our pastoral team support the positive learning environment in our school. We work closely with our Cluster Pastoral Care Manager and outside agencies to ensure all children who need extra support receive it.

We are also extremely lucky to have a dedicated governing board who work very hard to support and develop the school, challenging the Leadership Team to ensure the best provision possible.

We are very much a part of the local community and work hard to develop good links with our parents and the wider community. We have good relationships with our local cluster of schools and participate in many Cluster events. Our PTA is fantastic and provides an excellent range of events for children, parents and the community throughout the year, not only to provide extra funds for the school but for your entertainment too! They have worked tirelessly to create a Story Bus for the playground and fund a variety of playground developments. Their current target is to purchase 32 Chromebooks and a charging trolley for the school.

Our school has a well deserved reputation for excellent music and sports facilities, which the addition of our new Sports Hall has enhanced.

Our vision is for all children to be healthy, happy and safe – to achieve and feel valued.

We hope our website provides you with all the information you need. If you would like to see more, please contact the school to arrange a visit.
